Restaurant Carpet Cleaning Northern VA Demonstration

John: “I do look at the job first and assess it and see how bad it is, if it’s a restaurant versus a homeowner, and see how high the traffic area is. A lot of times, most people try to clean it themselves and they keep using shampoo and shampoo. It gets a PH build-up in the carpet which attracts dirt. When you pretreat a carpet, especially in a restaurant that’s really greasy, you might have to go over it more than once.

Typically, when I clean carpets, I’m using either a Rensoft rinse or a water rinse. I usually double up on my cleaning just to get it back down to that neutral PH level. That way it stays cleaner longer. The machine I use, when you are cleaning your carpet, you either use a pretreat solution or just shampoo in your water, you have a scrub brush that scrubs at about 1200 rpm.’s per minute and then it extracts. It helps beat the dirt out of the carpet. After I get done, they say, ‘Well, how long does it take to dry?’ and I tell them it depends on the humidity in the air.

But, typically 24 hours or less, depending on how long the carpet fibers are. I always try my best to do the best job there possibly is.”.
